Jack had a great time last week caddying on the Pro Am day at The British Masters for one of the sponsors guests, and alongside professional Ross Fisher.
We were all rooting for local boy Richard Bland who narrowly missed out on the title.
Another Hole in One was made last week by Paul Wynn using just a wedge on the 12th. This is Paul's first ever Hole in One and made just before he goes into hospital for an ankle operation, we wish him, well.
How do you fancy your very own parking space for a year?
Well for only a £1 it's well worth a go, all you need to do is guess the combined drives of all 4 incoming captains, Nick Goater, Wendy Evans, Tony Crawford and Laurie Tennant.
The entry sheet is on the bar and the draw will take place after the 'Drive In'.
All proceeds are going to the new captain's charity, Naomi House and Jack's Place, local to Winchester and a very worthy cause.
Good Luck
New In
We have had lots of new stock in this week to keep you warm whilst out playing.

Seniors' Captain & Vice Captain 2016
Congratulations to Seniors' Vice-Captain Dr. Tony Crawford and Geoff Roberts who were appointed to each respective office unopposed, by the Annual Meeting. Geoff is a past Captain at Ampfield Golf Club.
Wessex Seniors Winter League
John Taylor continues as organiser. The "sign-up sheet" now eagerly awaits your name on the Seniors' Notice Board!
Geoff Charnley
Past Seniors Captain
The Roger Gaines trophy hasn't been played for the past 3 years and we would love to reinstate it this year. Roger was a very proactive junior organiser when Jack was a junior, the trophy was generated and is played in his memory.
The format is a pairs, greensomes, stableford and we aim to pair one of our more experienced juniors with a newer junior. The entry fee is only £4, sign up on the junior notice board and the psi.
Juniors please give this your support.
Wendy Evans has now taken over as Ladies Captain and June Glasspell the Ladies Vice-Captain. We wish them all the best for the coming year and thanks to Jean White for all her hard work this year.
There were only 4 entries into the Ladies Stableford on Sunday and the overall winner was Susie Dryden with 32 points.
There was a good entry into Saturday's short course Stableford, the results are:
Division One winner: Andrew White with 42 points, and thank you Andrew for the compliment 'the lessons are finally paying off'.
Division two winner: Mike Killingley also with 42 points.
We had a much lower entry on Sunday due to the damp weather so this competition was processed as one division, the results are:
Winner Scott Ingram with 37 points, beating Malcolm Mackenzie on a countback.
Mixed match finale
Honours were shared in the 2 concluding mixed matches of 2016.
The penultimate match against Corhampton was a 5-2 victory for our home side, but the last match against local rivals Royal Winchester was a 4-3 loss in spite of a 'walkover' due to no-show nerves.
However, each of the 8 matches in the season were splendidly contested and enjoyed to the full. 43 different members participated (21 ladies and 22 men) and we thank every single one of them for their contribution to great social occasions. There is no doubt that our squad for next year is much stronger so we expect to be top of our class in 2017. We are especially happy that the new member pairs of the Steven's and the Lilley's are joining in and making a valuable contribution to our throng.
We take this opportunity to thank Ryan. Stephen and all the staff for looking after our hunger and thirst at the completion of matches - you were all great.
