What could you achieve in 2017?
Make 2017 the year to reach those goals, do you want to break 100, 90, 80 or even 70? Then come and see us, we are here to help you achieve those goals.
Breaking 90 - Work your back and shoulders...
The rope drill is a quality way to add speed and technique to your shoulder turn while maintaining a great spine angle. Loop a jump rope around a table leg or post and grab one end in each hand. Feel as if you're starting a lawn mower with each arm, while keeping your head steady. Go for 20 repetitions per set and three sets, feeling a nice weight transfer to the right and left side during each rep. You'll increase your range of motion and power and improve your swing tempo.
If you are still struggling and would like to book a lesson with one of our team, please click here to get in touch for more details.
Captain /Pro Matches
Nick and I have been pretty busy over Christmas playing six matches and fortunately winning all of them. The biggest win for Nick anyway, was against his daughter Beth and Junior Captain Laurie Tennant, this was a tight match all the way and Nick holed a putt from 20ft for a winning birdie. I've never seen anybody happier after holing a putt! So after that result Nick now moves up to the third best golfer in the Goater family, just ahead of his non-playing wife Jo.
We look forward to our 2017 matches with two this week.

At this time of year, the ladies are in need of donations for their Captain's Charity Raffle in the form of any unwanted gifts and I am sure you now have a few after Christmas.
