Who's been winning what?

Bad weather put most of you off from entering the Jubilee medal on Saturday, but those hardy soles that played came in with some good scores.

Division one winner Sean Green with a nett 65, won £41.24 to spend in the pro shop.

Division two winner Andrew Clark with a nett 69, won £18.22 to spend in the pro shop.

The winner of the Grandmother's Salver was Bridget Moore with 36 points beating Judie Lewis on a countback.

I must say we are all very impressed that every lady managed to put their scores in and most uploaded a picture of their scorecard, Men please take note it can be done.

Condition of entry

It has now been over a month since we have been using the app for competitive golf. I want to thank the professional staff for helping the members set up, and the teething issues we had with the app. Looking at the reports on how people have entered their score, we are now at 95% - 100% of people have entered their score successfully via the app, the small percentage that was entered by admin were people we were aware off, prior to the event.

So, as of Saturday, 1 August, ALL competitors MUST use the app for scoring, in competitions. Unless you have already contacted us, and we have agreed to input your score.

Knockout competitions

Thank you to everyone for getting your matches played on time. In the more popular competitions, there are now only two or three weeks between the end of round dates so could we urge you to arrange your games as soon as your opponents are known.

A reminder that the 3rd ROUND of THE TUTT BOWL and THE HERIOT and the QUARTERFINALS of THE COLLEGE PLATE and THE PINSENT are to be played by SUNDAY 9th AUGUST and due to the short time between rounds there will be NO EXTENSIONS.

If your match has been played, please ensure the result has been recorded on the WEBSITE. If the winners are not posted by the round completion date the game could be assumed not to have been played and therefore both players/teams could be subject to elimination. WINNERS: please check that the win has been posted.
