Staying Centred over the Ball
This is one of the most integral elements of the golf swing - the upper body must stay centred over the ball. By doing so, you will increase your ability to get that weight on the front foot at impact and deliver a downward, compressing blow to the back of the ball. A lot of people we teach have too much lateral shift away from the ball, this creates inconsistent contact as your relying on timing to hit the ball.

It was a pleasure to welcome the juniors back at the weekend to their group lessons and to listen to their holiday tales. My Saturday lesson is fully booked, however, I still have a few places left on Sunday from 9.30am - 10.30am if you know any children aged 6 - 16 years that may be interested in beginning golf.
The lessons incorporate all aspects of the game and are a great way to make new friends and develop personal skills.
The 1 hour lesson costs £8 per child and will continue through the autumn and winter months.
Click here to get in touch if you have any questions about these group lessons or your youngsters.

Are you taking a risk?
Every time we hear someone say they don’t have golf insurance, we wince. The potential costs associated with injuring someone with a stray shot, for example, should be enough to make you think about taking out a policy. We can help find a suitable policy that covers you with our recommended insurance provider, Golf Care, here… | find out more |
